How to Order

Buying a used imported engine is not the same as buying a part off a shelf. There is one of each unit, and fitment is on you and us to get right before money changes hands. This is the order we recommend.

1. Find the engine code, not just the car

Two cars of the same year and model can carry different engines. The code is what matters: 2AZ-FE, K24A, VQ35DE, EJ25. It is usually stamped on the block and listed on the under hood label. If you cannot find it, send us the VIN and we will work it out.

2. Send us the VIN before you buy

This single step prevents most of the problems we see. We check your VIN against the unit on the shelf and tell you whether it bolts straight in, or whether you need to move the intake, the loom or the sensors across from your old engine. Call +1 503-551-4892 or use the contact form.

3. Get the freight price

Use the freight quote form on the listing, or choose local pickup in Grand Rapids if you can collect. You will have the real number before you commit.

4. Place the order

Order through the site, or over the phone if you would rather talk it through. We confirm the stock number so you know exactly which unit is yours.

5. Book the shop before the unit lands

Freight is normally three to seven working days. Book your installer for after the delivery date, not before, and tell them to order the timing kit, water pump, thermostat and seals so they are on the bench when the unit arrives.

6. Inspect on delivery

Check the pallet before you sign, and note any damage on the delivery receipt. See the shipping page for why this matters.

7. Keep your paperwork

The installation invoice from a licensed shop is what activates your warranty claim if you ever need one. Keep it with the stock number. See the warranty terms.

Paying

We accept card payment through the site and bank transfer for larger orders. For pickup orders you can pay on collection once you have looked the unit over.
